My new MJ.. Coming right up!!

Its another MJ i've been craving for. Tried to sell my coach strawberry milk poppy lurex, but i guess it is unsuccessful. Buyers wants a cheaper price which i think is way too cheap considering that i bought the bag for RM1425. Buyers wants to buy for RM400. I cant accept that. In conclusion, I will use the bag until it is worn out. Anyway, here's the MJ bag on the way.. Hopefully I can get it before my trip to Osaka.

It was a fun Sunday run, it is the last run of the year 2011, and it has been the best run ever! And super challenging, that we had to climb the super steep hills twice but we survived. Here are some photos taken during the event. The goodie bag not as luxurious as the other runs I participated, but its okay.. We had great cendol (Tmn Melawati cendol as stated on the lorry). Enjoy the photos!!

Aston cengkareng hotel and convention centre, jakarta

We stayed in jakarta for another day after the wedding. Our beloved friends, the newly married couple and their cousins (darius & felix) sent us to the hotel after hanging out at the biggest mall in jakarta (according to my husb it is located near Jln Sudirman). We thought it was a so-so hotel, because it is a 3-star hotel but, it turned out to a quite awesome hotel to stay and very convenient in terms of location to the airport, shops nearby (We saw Carrefour about 100m away from the hotel.

Okay, the room was superb, purple (my favourite color), clean, great tv channels (HBO, AXN, etc.), good breakfast, easy access to the internet, provides shuttle to the Soekarno Hatta airport every two hours (our flight due to depart at 1:45pm, the earliest shuttle was at 10 am. It was okay, as long as we do not get stuck in the traffic jam!

So, i would recommend aston cengkareng hotel for anyone who do not want to be late to catch a flight. Its far frm the city centre (toko tanah abang, mangga dua etc.), but you can stay there after you've done touring and shopping in the heart of jakarta. So, its a 9/10! :)

Indonesian wedding 26/12/2011

Last week I was in Jakarta to attend a good friends' wedding. A friend me and my husband had known way back then when we used to work part-time at Pizza Hut Subang Parade. That was 10 years ago. How time flies.

So we took Air Asia to jakarta on saturday noon and arrived at 3, took the bluebird cab to the santika premier hotel. Thats in the city centre. And very convenient to go to Tanah Abang to shop for "telekung" or prayer clothing for myself and the rest of my family members as well as some close friends. We reached the hotel around 4 close to 5 pm. Take a rest for a bit then be prepared for the wedding. At 7pm, the wedding started.

It was beautiful, pink was the theme color and then i saw the bride.. She was so beautiful. She is my friend. The wedding was not so much different from malaysian wedding except for a few things i find different. Maybe two. One, as the bride walked down the aisle, no one took her photograph except us, me & my husband. Haha. Two, there werent any seat or tables for the guests, only buffet table. Oh, there's three, they actually give gifts to the guests (the lucky ones only :)) yeah, they had to play some games then they'll get the prize. Guess what prize they gave away?? A blackberry!! How cool was that?! Only for single man or ladies, okay.. Haha.

When i asked the bride of the wedding processes.., they actually undergone the same chinese tradition. Tea drinking ceremony where they had to serve the in-laws chinese tea. Thats the custom. They were officially married on the 11/11/11 but held the reception a bit later. Anyway, enjoy the pic, and thank you Lili & Andry for the free stay at the hotel :)
